The communities of Baltimore, Maryland and Gloucester Township, New Jersey are mourning the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of Stephanie G. Titterton, who passed away suddenly on May 12, 2026, at just 23 years old. Stephanie’s passing has left family members, friends, classmates, coworkers, and countless others devastated as they remember a remarkable young woman whose life was defined by intelligence, compassion, leadership, and service to others.

Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Catherine Titterton and Stephen Titterton and the loving sister of Catherine Titterton. She was also the cherished granddaughter of the late Michael and Catherine Cortese and Edward and Rita Titterton. Stephanie leaves behind a deeply loving extended family, including her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.

Known affectionately by many as “Squishy,” Stephanie was a bright light within every community she touched. She graduated from Highland High School in 2020, where she distinguished herself not only academically but also through her involvement in student life and athletics. Stephanie proudly served as the Highland Tartan mascot and was President of the National Honor Society, reflecting both her school spirit and dedication to excellence. She also participated in tennis, lacrosse, and swimming, building lasting friendships and memories through sports and teamwork.

In Gloucester Township, Stephanie made an especially meaningful impact through her involvement with TBAA. What began as participation as a player evolved into years of service as both a volunteer and coach. She was admired for her positive attitude, infectious energy, and ability to encourage and inspire younger athletes. Her dedication to helping others was evident from a young age and continued throughout her life.

Stephanie went on to attend Loyola University in Baltimore, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Her academic accomplishments were impressive, but it was her generous heart and commitment to service that truly defined her. While living in Baltimore, Stephanie volunteered extensively with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs, helping individuals and families in need. She also tutored students at Govans Elementary School, demonstrating her passion for education and community support.

Her efforts did not go unnoticed. Stephanie received recognition and honors from the IRS, the Department of the Treasury, and the city of Baltimore for her outstanding service and dedication to others. At the time of her passing, she was working as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was respected for both her professionalism and warm personality.

Beyond her achievements, Stephanie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and love of life. She loved traveling, had an incredible sense of humor, and possessed a generosity that made people feel welcomed and valued. Her laughter, kindness, and compassion touched countless lives.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in Runnemede, New Jersey, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at the family’s request.

Though Stephanie G. Titterton’s life was tragically short, her impact was extraordinary. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved by all who knew her.
